Forever Living Products International Inc. (Forever) is not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal (act), fraudulent schemes where the participants’ source of income depends solely or heavily on recruiting other people to join. The person at the top makes all the money and sales of products have little or no impact on the earnings. Pyramid schemes are not sustainable businesses and eventually collapse.

This is what the DSA says:

“Direct selling or network marketing should not be confused with pyramid selling. Pyramid selling is illegal in the UK and many other countries, and is a type of fraud which is disguised to look like direct selling. Pyramid selling is where recruits pay an admission fee to join the scheme to earn commissions on persuading other to join rather than supply any real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Pyramid schemes do not offer contracts to participants, cancellation rights nor the opportunity to buy-back unsold goods – all of which are required under UK law.”

Network marketing or multi-level marketing companies like Forever Living Products UK Ltd. (Forever) are legitimate companies that must abide by strict codes, laws and regulations enforced by the Direct Selling Association (DSA), Trading Standards and UK/EU¬ laws. These safeguards are in place to protect consumers and network marketing companies must take these seriously in order to gain DSA membership, which Forever has.

Forever Living Products UK Ltd. (Forever) is a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) and therefore we have to comply with UK law and the two DSA codes (The Consumer Code of Practice and The Code of Business Conduct). These codes ensure that Forever operates in an ethical and responsible manner. We do not encourage Forever Business Owners (FBO) to place pressure on their team members to sell or recruit others. If an FBO does feel such pressure, they should follow our formal complaints procedure of which all FBOs are made aware of upon signing.

Direct selling is the UK’s largest provider of part-time earning opportunities. It is a flexible option for over 400,000 people in the UK, allowing them to earn money and run their own small business on their own terms. Direct selling allows people to work around existing commitments, putting in the hours they choose.

There is not a contract. You’re not obliged to do anything. You can pause and take a break, stop all together or just look after your personal needs/those of a few customers. There is no pressure, you’re the boss of what you do and don’t do.

The Forever network has been built over 40 years through collaboration, support and family values. Many of our business owners form lifelong friendships and their networks often include family and friends. As in any business endeavour success and passion often go hand in hand, this does not constitute a cult.

In all of our opportunity meetings we are very clear that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but there are several promotions that Forever Business Owners (FBO) can achieve that will indeed
impact their earning potential. Profit can always be made on retail sales, and each time an FBO achieves a promotion within the company’s Marketing Plan, their monthly bonus will see an increase.

A new FBO will earn 15% profit on personal retail sales. Once they are promoted to a level above this (Assistant Supervisors or above) they will earn 30% profit on personal retail sales. FBOs who are promoted to Assistant Supervisor and the levels above will also receive a bonus on retail sales.

This starts at 5% and can increase to 18% as they move up the Marketing Plan. FBOs who are promoted to the next level, Supervisor (and the levels above this), will also receive a team leading bonus. This starts at 3% and can increase to 13% as they move up the Marketing Plan. The purpose of the team leading bonus is to encourage FBOs to develop their team by helping them to also build strong, sustainable businesses.

On average a Supervisor can earn £250+ per month; Assistant Managers can earn around £600+ per month, and Managers can earn £800-£1,200+ per month. The earning potential for those who achieve levels above Manager, we call these Senior, Soaring, Sapphire Managers, etc., these positions can earn between £20,000 and £350,000+ per year, depending on their level and business structure. Hard work is involved at every level as it would be in the development of any business.

Profit is always made on retail sales, and each time an FBO achieves a promotion within the company’s Marketing Plan, their monthly bonus will see an increase. Forever business owners are shown how to develop a solid retail business that can generate a few hundred pounds a month of profit; for many business owners this really can make a difference.

You may be legitimate, but there’s still a lot of negativity surrounding network marketing…

Home entrepreneurship is now an acceptable way of making money. We are seeing younger people who look at entrepreneurship as a solution. They see it as an opportunity, particularly in this digital age where you can work on your laptop from anywhere in the world.

This younger generation want flexibility. They don’t necessarily want to work nine to five in an office anymore. Network marketing has the potential to offer this flexibility.
